Movie Info
A politically ambitious attorney, wanting to be elected mayor, resorts to mud-slinging against the corrupt incumbent in this lively political comedy. The trouble really begins when he falls in love with the local zookeeper's daughter and learns that her father has lost his job for political reasons. Though they are in love, she is an old-fashioned girl and will only let him go so far. The romance is thrown off track when she learns what the attorney is doing to get elected. Fortunately, the two come back together, and the lawyer even becomes friends with Herman the lion at the zoo.

Audience Reviews for The Reformer and the Redhead
Trite and silly film is a pastiche of many other better films. June who is usually so winning on screen is obnoxious here.
