The Wet Parade (1932)
Movie Info
The terrible effects of both alcoholism and Prohibition on a Northern family and a Southern one provide the basis for this melodrama. The Tarletons live in New York City. The family patriarch loves his liquor and spends much time in local bars. The Chilcotes live down South. Though always a gentleman, the father also drinks heavily and sells moonshine. In both cases, the family's are ultimately destroyed by alcohol.
