In this northern adventure, a man kills another in self-defense and hides out in the Great Northwoods. He is pursued by a determined Mountie, but the innocent fugitive knows the woods intimately, and he is able to fool the lawman into blundering into all sorts of danger.

The Wild North is at its best when it remains in the big outdoors. It's laid in the great Canadian wilds, and the scenery and action thrills are wonderful. But when the story goes indoors, it begins to creak.
