It is a pretty, Idyllic love story of old England, and sends the patron from the theater with a smile on his face, believing the world is bigger and brighter than he had supposed.

The whole atmosphere of the tale is light and as graceful as a minuet and colored with the nicety of a pastel.
There is something engaging, something fascinating about this pretty little comedy-drama that results in it being unusually attractive, even though the whole story could have been told in far less space than five reels embrace.
Slight in texture like all delicate things, it gives a truly first-love story in all its June rose-time perfume and vernal sweetness.
Its beauty cannot be told in words.
The story is an attractive one, and Miss Martin has every opportunity to display her talents at their best.
