If you're out on something that can be described as Saved by the Bell: The Reboot: The Movie: The Nightmare, that's fine. It's also your loss.

...well-made, well-acted and should keep couch-bound sleuths guessing until the end...

A better-than-average slasher, which makes it stand out among the recent crop of Netflix horror outings. Consider our expectations just barely surpassed.

[A]n interesting expression of a classic subgenre using current ideas. The cast handles its business and the filmmakers aren't afraid to get bloody. A flawed, but ultimately enjoyable effort.

Proficiently mounted, convention-loving, throwaway 1980s slasher throwback...Some nice touches from the straight-faced no-name cast bring a sprinkle of gags about wokeness. And the film is not without wit. Turning Nazi memorabilia into bongs? Genius.

A fun slasher flick that doesn't take itself too seriously. While it may not feel overly original, director Patrick Brice knows his audience and makes a solid film for them to jump and scream at during their late-night horror fest.

When I toss everything on the scale, the nonsensical moments and standard horror cliches on one side and the genuinely funny moments and enjoyable characters on the other, this film ends up weighing out to just entertaining enough.

A mid-tier cancel culture slasher flick. The movie isn't spectacular, but its subversion of overdone horror tropes and highlighting of current social issues makes it worth a watch.

While it doesn't carry the meta-textual cleverness of "Scream," the genre-bending zaniness of "Freaky," or the timeless feel of "Halloween," there's something instantly and tremendously appealing about "There's Someone Inside Your House."

The kills are good-to-great, but what the film really has going for it are fleshed-out characters whose fate we are actually invested in.

Memorable kills, an energetic sense of style, a smart enough script, and likable characters go a long way towards making this a fun slasher.

When it comes time to deliver some brutality, Brice isn't afraid to make a movie about youngsters that's not for youngsters, delivering some forbidden fruit for the Netflix audience.

Leaves a lot on the table thematically, but the strong ensemble and set pieces make it a worthwhile watch this October.

From a horror perspective, the film is lacking, but it more than makes up for it with well developed characters and a killer who preys on secrets.

The perfect type of mindless (but slightly smart) slasher to kick off spooky season.

A phenomenal slasher film that comments on the horrors of confronting our own ethics, our willingness to judge others, and the perils of privilege.
