Thunder and the House of Magic is That Touching Cat Chase Cartoon You've Been Looking For

It's a thin premise that cues much cheery knockabout comedy, with ample scope for impressively whooshy 3D tracking shots. If the action gets somewhat repetitive, very young viewers are unlikely to mind.

Audience Reviews for Thunder and the House of Magic

This film has some pretty damn solid and colorful animation.  I think that's gonna make this film a more than adequate diversion for kids.  The plotting and story isn't particularly outstanding though.  There's a lot of slapstick, so it's clear the film is intended for young kids. But, admittedly, this isn't really that bad of the film. Out of all the animated films I've seen on Netflix lately, this is easily the best I've seen. Not that it's saying much when we're talking about films like Bold Eagles, Mummy I'm a Zombie, and Justin and the Knights of Valor. And this would really only be average at best. The story is to the point and simple, no real complexity at all, so that kids don't get confused. This is a cute kids' movie more than anything else. It's an average one though, the animation is quite good and some of the scenes are pretty funny. This is something, however, that's gonna come and leave without a trace. It's not bad, but it's not particularly memorable or outstanding. Average and a pretty harmless movie for kids, in spite of some "violent" moments.
