Critic Reviews for Tim

All Critics (2)

Tim comes close to reproducing the plot of Doubt, in negative-space fashion. That is, for this go-round, we spend all our time with the uncomprehending kid (if he is uncomprehending?) and his teacher-nurturer-desirer.

The slight sentimental film is nothing special.

Audience Reviews for Tim

Mel Gibson's second film and it is pretty apparent that the young Aussie is a great acting talent. The film itself is very intriguing, despite a oddly slow paced film. The best part of the movie however is the dynamic between a slow minded man, and his elder parents not the budding relationship between a woman and her gardener. All in all great little movie to watch if you are having a bit of an insomniac attack, and just feel like watching TV all night and into the wee morning hours.
