Despite the limitations of a small budget, the not so great acting and the film dragging at the end, the film does to its credit have a great concept, surprisingly well written and believable characters despite the conflict between the main couple getting a bit repetitive after a while, and some surprisingly effective suspense in the first half as well as some pretty nasty gore throughout.

A man takes his moaning wife to a horrible half built "cottage" as a little holiday because she is mental. Ray is a cinematic genius, a complete twonk who has the inability to say the right thing to his fruitloop of a missus. Indeed much of this film is Ray and his wife bickering about wether or not she is mental until he convinces her there is no clown. There was a clown and he beats Ray to death with a beer and a chair, bye bye Ray your stilted acting and deadpan delivery was a joy to watch.
The clown is an evil so and so and I feel after watching this that clowns are clowns and should have no human rights and can therefore be tortured or sent to Somalia.

Dissecto The Clown kidnaps Suzi Lorraine, and all he can think about doing, is performing magic tricks.

a movie about a guy with a silly clown outfit on that tortures one or two people. this movie is just one of those long drawn out stupid brain damage movies that is fairly forgetable. it could have actually been a decent low budget movie if there would have been a few more victims or a little more action to it.
