Found Myself Being Able To Closely Relate To The Source Material. Attempting To Build Shattered Trust, Honoring A Broken Friendship, In The Aftermath Of Mixed Life Passions Is Compelling Viewing. The Backdrop Of Music & Drugs Add The Pressure Until Things Final Burst Open. I Liked The Gritty Nature Of It All.

The singing was bad -- it didn't make me believe that either of them could have been singers in the past -- but the acting was great, and it brought back some of my faith for indie Canadian cinema.

ok movie. Good message, but lengthy.

Though too stagey to be great, Trigger is a piece that succeeds in no uncertain terms on the strength of the actors.

Not a bad little movie.

Two former Canadian rockers, who have long since gone on to lead different lifestyles, come back together for bit of a reunion. They meet at a swank Toronto restaurant where past tensions soon flare back up again. The film takes place over the course of one night and features two dynamite performances by Molly Parker and Tracy Wright - in her last role. The two women really feel as though they were the best of friends. The film was directed by Bruce McDonald, who has previously looked at the rock and roll lifestyle in Hard Core Logo, and has done a very good job here as well.

Nice little Canadian film about to female rockers who reunite and have to deal with their shit. It's a movie worth renting if possible, however buying I dunno.

I love intellectual movies like this, basically one long conversation.

A well written, well performed Canadian character drama. Molly Parker and Tracy Wright are both excellent and have great chemistry together. Sadly, this was Wright's final performance before her passing.

Tonight was the night that Smallville returned on TV. I have watched the show for 10 years, and I am a fan for 10 yearrs. But I had to ditch Smallville tonight so that I could catch this film at the festival. Was it worth it? Abso-bloody-lutely. Clark Kent can wait for another couple of weeks, but Tracy Wright and Molly Parker wouldn't. I am not just saying this, because I had a chance to talk with the director, Bruce McDonald, but this film remided me of the reason why I am here. For years, I've said that I want to make films for a living, but I kind of lost the reason since I came back to Canada. Tonight, he reminded me that I want to be like him, create whatever I desire, and working with people I love. I am a filmmaker, and I will shoot films.

Entirely worth it for the adorable Sarah Polley cameo and Don McKellar's Elias Koteas impression. RIP Tracy Wright.

Beautiful two-hander anchored by subtle, moving performances from Molly Parker and the late great Tracy Wright. Rock n roll is to Bruce McDonald what bourgeois murder is to Claude Chabrol.
