Movie Info

Part of the TV series entitled "The Shakespeare Plays," this is one of the subtlest and most enjoyable of the Shakespearian plays. Portraying the different types of love, it is set in a country house of aristocrats and there are practical jokes, poetry and songs that make this a most entertaining view.

Audience Reviews for Twelfth Night

Again, three stars for fidelity to the text, and for the performances of Sinéad Cusack as Olivia and Felicity Kendal as Viola. If you haven't seen it yet, you should also check out She's the Man for its lively take on this story.

I wonder what would happen if they took the She's the Man actors and tried to do Twelfth Night? What this one lacks is life and that liveliness you get with She's the Man. But it's worth one watch.
