Movie Info

Two rival adventurers have many exciting experiences while making their way around the world. Their travels end in New York, where both rapscallions become rum runners. Once again they are competitors. One day one of them, Jerry Faye (John Gilbert) ends up ducking the law in a mansion owned by Jane (Joan Crawford). When she threatens to call the cops, Jerry abducts her and takes her to his ship. About that time, his rival Red McCue (Ernest Torrence) and his gang masquerade as revenuers and take over Jerry's boat. The two engage in a drinking contest. The winner will get the extraordinarily beautiful Jane. Unfortunately the competition escalates into bloodshed and only one man survives to claim her hand.

Decent silent adventure with Gilbert a robust hero. Crawford is properly spirited and looks amazing.
