Movie Info

Douglas, an American soldier in newly liberated Paris in 1944, meets Robin, a destitute woman at wit's end. Douglas pretends to be married to Robin, but when it turns up she has no papers, problems begin to escalate against them. Douglas, desperate, tries to marry her.

A dramatic, romantic, sad, tragic world war two love movie. Douglas is fantastic and the rest of the cast is good too. It's not that different from other war romance movies, but I was surprised by the ending, it was sad. Overall, I think it was a good movie.
