I really wished WALL-E was a real robot after seeing this movie. Great job, Pixar.

WALL-E is a highly intelligent, not to mention a very fun, cautionary tale about taking care of the Earth. It's an average quality PIXAR movie, which, of course, means that it's an excellent film.

Could be a whole new starting point for Disney.

Wall E is a great movie by Pixar that should appeal to all ages. It is a tale of a robot-a very lonely robot and his experiences with love, mortality and human beings. The film works on all levels- there are enough funny gags and jokes to keep the younger audience happy and there is an underlying theme of the effects of capitalism that will be picked up by many older viewers. The setting in space gives an opportunity to the PIXAR animators to try different color palette which is a refreshing change from the colors we are used to seeing. This is an unmissable animation film.

Loved this film. The subtext is timeless in today's ever worsening world.

The first 20 minutes are for everybody, the rest is more focused on children, but there's enough subtle and not-so-subtle visual nods worked in for adults to have a good time.

One of the most amazing animated movies I have ever seen. As an adult, it made me laugh and filled me with wonder.

Great animated film. The lack of speaking for the first long while was interesting and captivating.

I loved this movie. Truly magical, touching, and funny. I guess this comes to show that even robots have feelings.

I'm here in 2018 and it's still my favorite.

Who would have thought a love story about robots would be as good as this

Strengths: It is hard to craft a story ripe with heart, romance, action, and one that manages to have a clear message without much dialogue. WALL-E excels there. For most of the first half of the movie, there's barely any talking. And yet, WALL-E's love for EVE is evident from the start and you feel for everything that happens. I was more invested in their relationship than ones in most other films that get hours and lots of dialogue to showcase their chemistry. It's a testament to the story told and the work the filmmakers did that this romance works so well. The fact that this flawed protagonist goes to great lengths for his love takes him on a magnificent adventure. The bigger story about the human race having spent 700 years in space and having to get back down to Earth was well done. It tied in to WALL-E's story with ease and allowed his act to have a greater meaning. There's also a fair bit of humor included in this cute tale. As always, Pixar's animation style is among the best in the world.

Weaknesses: The lack of dialogue can make this a tough watch for some. I've heard plenty of people who couldn't get into the movie because of this. It can come across as boring if you aren't willing to put the time in for the story to reward you.

Overall: A beautifully crafted story told in a way that really makes you feel. The animation is top notch, the characters are easy to invest in, it's sweet, and tells a brilliant love story. The genius of it all is honestly underrated. A classic.

A beautiful tale about a flawed, quirky, and less-than-perfect protagonist going to great lengths to do what he feels is right, and meeting the love of his life (his polar opposite) along the way. It is definitely a great and heartwarming adventure that sees a hero come from absolutely nothing, as well as subliminal messages and motifs that don't get drilled into your head, but rather are explored naturally and fluidly. Fantastic family film.

While the men are away, the machines will play. We're talking about the Earth in this case, which has been abandoned by humanity for the better part of seven centuries with mechanized drones left behind to sweep up the mess and maybe, possibly, find love somewhere in the aftermath. Wall-E's opening act is Pixar at its finest, playing with raw pantomime and rich expression during a solid forty minutes' screen time with little or no dialog.

The dire, desolate setting of our planet's future is unnerving, a vast stretch of crumbling skyscrapers and wind-swept fast food wrappers, but we can't get too down in the dumps about it because the one little refuse-collecting bot at the center of it all is so deeply enamored with the place. Amidst evidence of the very worst of human nature, we're also reminded of its most redeeming qualities, and experience many of them through fresh eyes. Wall-E takes the time to appreciate things that our obsessively screen-gazing descendants miss (an uncomfortably prescient prediction, that) and, as we're along for the ride with him this time, we do, too. Spirited, fantastical sci-fi with an artist's heart and a clear message. It's ten years old, but it looks like it could've been released ten minutes ago.

Animation is great, the plot consumes you, and you really end up adoring the characters. It also sends a very important message.

This movie is visually stunning. Not only that it's amazing, it's also very good in storytelling. It appeals to all ages and is a great movie. I have the DVD, but I recommend the blu-ray if you have a blu-ray player because this looks fantastic.
