Recently graduated 18 year olds get jobs and get into trouble in this typical teen comedy.

Typical, fun 80s teen movie. A little sketchy on plot, and about 80% music montage, but if you appreciate it's dated-ness, it's worth a watch. Features Courtney Thorne-Smith and Mariska Hargitay, who went on to bigger and better things, and Jo Ann Willette, who surprisingly didn't, as she is the stand-out here. Not a cinematic masterwork, but fun to watch with a group of girlfriends. If that's what you're looking for, enjoy!
