Excellent portrait of the guy. The hero of the sea creatures. We understand the logic and can only praise efforts to reduce the destruction of the planet. Soylent green is not that far away.

Documentary on Paul Watson and his fight for nature. If you enjoy Whale Wars you should enjoy this.

Some may find it slow or redundant, but this video proof of as real as it gets bad-ass. A true life hero fighting for ideals that even though are in absolutely everybody's BEST interest, only a few will acknowledge. And that is how his hero status is most validated.

Canadian Paul Watson exposes and hunts down illegal whaling activities, the St. Lawrence Gulf annual seal hunt, hypocritical politicians and questionable laws, and eloquently argues and illustrates that human beings are...well... just plain fucking stupid.

Decent doc. about Paul Watson, a man who has given most of his life to try and protect the animals of the oceans, risking violence, jail, and in one case, a bullet from a sniper rifle that almost killed him, through out all this, Watson has never stopped. He has gone against whalers, the shark fin mafia and in my home country of Canada the sealers who go out on the ice and club the poor little baby seals to death. The movie is able to capture much of the life of Watson, using old TV reports, the films that he has shot himself and a crew that must have followed him around for what seems several years, you get a pretty good image of who Paul Watson is. Is he perfect, no, be does he believe in what he is doing, 100%. Maybe that is why he has so many people want to help him while at the same time more people who wish him harm. I personally agree with most of what he says, although I think he view of religion is incredibly naive, but that is his right and it is funny that he treats nature more reverently then many of the religious people of the world who claim to love what God made. Anyway, like I said, good doc. although it is hard to watch in some places cause of the violence done to the animals, so it is not for the squeamish, but like other docs. of its kind, such as The Cove and Sharkwater, it should be seen and talked about.
