The use of poetry suggests depth and history beyond the immediate moment, even when the characters, called only He and She, trade epithets as lovers in the midst of horrifying anger can.

Despite many interesting mise-en-scene moments, the film disappointingly feels as sterile as the family's immaculately clean house.

Audience Reviews for Yes

YES was recommended to me, some time ago, but I could not find it to download it, so I ordered it through Which after watching it, all I want to do is cry. Not my for my money but for my time. I found myself fast forwarding the movie some times. First of all,why was the characters dialog had to rhyme? Sounds like poetry and it was extremely distracting and so unreal that it made the already uninteresting plot even more unbearable. I can say you should watch the movie for yourself and make your own judgement. Maybe you'll get lucky and actually be able to get into it. I could not. No matter how hard I tried.

Poetic and beautiful to watch but you don't really connect with any of the characters.
