Kim Hyeong-jun directs a a film which is characterized by directness, without any compromises in depiction, as it becomes evident with the autopsy sand a number of sex scenes, whose purpose is not to shock, but to strengthen the element of agony.

Definitely 4 stars for the last 10 min, but the rest of the movie is average at best.

The entry for this movie on here has absolutely nothing. Just the cast, no description (forensic pathologist helps murderer escape so he can saved his kidnapped daughter)...no poster...nothing. How sad. Anyway, this movie is just barely good. At best, I'd say it's a generically good movie, if such a description is valid. It's solid, but there's absolutely nothing special about it and it won't stick with you when you're done with it. The problem is, it just feels like a bunch of movies we've seen before just mashed together and it just comes across as completely lazy in its effort. Taking from other movies isn't bad, practically everybody does it, but at least try to do SOMETHING interesting. The last 20 minutes are also needlessly melodramatic. Fine...the bad guy can kill the main character's daughter, and then he (this being the forensic pathologist) proceeds to cry loudly while he's convulsing on the ground...but do you REALLY need to play sad music over it too? This music took what would've been a good scene without it and made it completely laughable. There's sometimes when the music is simply not needed, and THAT scene was it. I still think the scene would've been melodramatic, it wouldn't have been as bad as it was. Oh and then things get even more tragic after that. Really, the last 20 minutes are just terrible and takes this movie from a score of 3 down to a 2.5. I will say that the one thing does really well is tell the story of how one lie can completely crush and destroy a family. That was at least decently effective. The rest of the movie is just your average, run of the mill experience.
