For those curious if the final season of "Bloodline" is worth it -- the basest function of a review -- I will quickly and succinctly answer: No.
With strong episodes to close out the series, standout performances, and very strong below the line work, the series stuck the landing.
Filmed on location, the Florida Keys act as the perfect backdrop to contrast with the series. The bright blue waters and clear sunny skies try their best to mask the ugly underbelly that is the entire series plot line.
Season three's most glaring failure, perhaps, is its inability to provide catharsis and resolution.
There's a palpable uneasiness in the air among the Rayburn clan. Their plotting and scheming is ingrained in their DNA.
It is so frustrating to come to the end of its three-season run with so many loose ends and unsatisfying conclusions.
