Series Info

A single father, who's a conservative senator's aide, gives a liberal reporter a job and a place to live---his place. It didn't take long after they moved in together for sparks to fly and by the end of Season 1, the housemates became husband and wife. `Hearts Afire' began its sophomore year with the newlyweds heading south to start a newspaper.

Critics Consensus: Frothy with a political zip, Hearts Afire derives its warmth from witty repartee and an excellent ensemble, but less so from its central duo's questionable romantic chemistry.
