Critic Consensus: Humans is a mature, high-octane thriller offering emotional intrigue and thought-provoking suspense that should prove irresistible to sci-fi fans while remaining accessible enough to lure in genre agnostics.

All people have to do is power up their TVs, set aside their sensitivities and tune in.
There's so much going on here thematically that it's always bouncing from one complex question to another. And that will keep me engaged all Summer.
It's an interesting concept -- as evidenced by the wealth of material already out there -- but for the most part the stories the writers choose to tell are expected.

What stays with us about Humans, though, are the reminders of all the little ways things will change once we hand part of our lives over to robots.

Like most good sci-fi, Humans makes sure that the philosophizing doesn't get in the way of the suspense and chills. Anyone who doesn't enjoy those might be a Synth.

A charming, exciting, and impeccably written sci-fi drama for grown-up.
