In the beginning of series 2, Miranda is trying to get over Gary's departure to Hong Kong be reinventing herself and meeting a new man but her romantic jaunt coincides exactly with Gary returning and witnesses the whole thing. Later Miranda and Stevie try to befriend 22 year old Tamara from Hong Kong and Miranda must take a psychiatric assessment test.

Miranda Hart is just one of those naturally funny people and for all this sitcom's silliness, her efforts are a joy to watch.
