Tv Season Info

The chaotic cop comedy continues as Reno's finest report for duty for a fourth season, with short shorts and gallows humor galore. Lt. Jim Dangle (Thomas Lennon) and Dep. James Garcia (Carlos Alazraqui) try to avoid freezing to death; Dep. Trudy Wiegel (Kerri Kenney-Silver) learns whether her husband will be executed by lethal injection; and all the deputies vow to avenge the murder of Sheriff Chechekevitch---as soon as they figure out who killed him. Other complications involve the deputies dealing with assistance from citizen patrolman Rick (guest star Paul Reubens), fighting over a department Jet Ski, getting corporate sponsorship---and all-you-can-eat hot wings---from Hotty's Restaurant and considering rigging an election when a department pay increase is on the ballot. The off-duty antics are wild, too, with Dep. Cheresa Kimball (Mary Birdsong) inviting Dep. Clementine Johnson (Wendi McLendon-Covey) to her Christian singles group, Dangle agreeing to marry his ex-wife's husband and Wiegel delivering a big surprise of her own.

With hilarious improv comedy and some of the most unique and awkward situations that the show has ever seen, we can forgive the fact that the show isn't as consistent as it was the first couple seasons.
