A curious kitten in Imperial China learns life lessons in animated adventures based on a children's book by Amy Tan. Sagwa, who acts like a normal 8-year-old human girl---not a Siamese cat---lives with her parents, older brother and younger sister in the court of the Foolish Magistrate. She `tries to be good,' says Tan, `but she gets into trouble.'
