I enjoyed this series. I felt as if I was having an anxiety attack several times due to the extreme risks he took. In the end though, he really was an idiot to betray his country for a woman that didn't even love him, but it was an interesting watch.

An extraordinary real events translated into a tepid and sentimental production. The problem is that there is no real surprise in the story -- good vs. bad, mole and mole-searcher, domestic dramas, agency politics. But there is nothing really thrilling and gripping They wasted the acrid, dry and potentially powerful presence of Jeanne Vertefeuille,; instead, we have the middle-brow perfection of Sandra Grimes.

This 8-part drama provided multiple, interesting perspectives on this huge crime against our country. Worth the time spent.

Very well acted, well filmed. Gripping. Recommended. I think the "critics" didn't like this only because of their political sympathies. As one reviewer said, it's not as violent as it might have been, considering its subject. The language isn't as offensive as many series either.

Excellent drama of how an American sold out 'spy assets' for money. Finding the greedy mole is tense and entertaining TV.
