The second season has finally arrived and it's even better than the first. The scripts are sharper and more focused and there's more of Molly Shannon as their mother, which is a good thing.
So while "The Other Two" can still slice Blake Lively, Vogue, and "The Big Bang Theory" jokes with relative ease, this season has some extra tears and introspection, too.
Shannon seems to have specialized in embodying funny, problematic and always very peculiar mothers. And that's what she does in The Other Two. [Full review in Spanish]
Thankfully, it's so damn funny that you laugh away any too-serious thoughts.
The Other Two may be a satirical powerhouse, but at its core it's a story about the Dubeks, who manage to be lovable, messy, and infuriating all at once. As our entry points into this family, Tarver and Yorke nail every beat, whether dramatic or comedic.
