Fans of the original series will likely be pleased to see how the new Team Voltron shakes out, as well. I was positively thrilled to see some of the reveals that happen relatively early on.
Longtime Voltron fans have been waiting for Prince Lotor to appear, and hopefully, they aren't disappointed because his arrival signals a real shake-up in how the show will operate.
Fantastic world building, heart pumping action, engaging characters, and freakin' Sven? Yeah, I'm happy with this season.
Despite the shorter length, Season 3 manages to cover a great deal of ground, introducing compelling new villains, adding new depth to familiar characters and generally enriching the mythology of this sci-fi universe.
Season three is easily the most dramatically compelling.
