- Bio:
- Shakespeare once wrote that an actor's purpose is to put a "mirror up to nature". I couldn't agree more. In fact, as far as I'm concerned, this is the only truly useful purpose of any art form - the rest is entertainment, fluff, fast food. Sighting this nature of ours for what it is, is very important to me and films are a great help. Particularly those, whose makers manage to put ulterior motives aside and pour their efforts, wholeheartedly, into such mirrors: encompassing much, reflecting clear, granting moments of precious, precious perspective. The Above Being Said, Here's My Rating System: 0.5 - Non-Reflecting At Best, Blatantly Propagandistic At Worst 1.0 - A Few Tiny Reflective Patches 1.5 - Some Small But Distinct Reflective Patches 2.0 - More Of A Failure Than A Success, Though Not By Very Much 2.5 - About As Much Of A Failure As A Success 3.0 - Nice Mirror, Though Markedly Flawed 3.5 - Nearly Unblemished, Nearly 4.0 - Great Quality Mirror, No Significant Flaws 4.5 - Large And Brilliantly Clear 5.0 - Soul-Shakingly Vivid, Whole Reflections
