Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian

Still don't think this needed to be made. The original was good enough. It was entertaining, but I did not like the ending. I really did not like Amelia Earhart...I think she was too stuck up and arrogant; she just annoyed the hell out of me. I did like Hank Azaria...not so much the character, but his acting. It felt too National Treasure-ish at some points, too (ex: when Larry went down to the basement to look for the 'artifacts' and the music that went along with it), and I wasn't too happy about that.

I thought this was awesome! The editing stood out the most and it was fantastic. Great cast. I love British comedies, so I thought this was hilarious...the audience during our showtime was a little immature (every time Twatt's name was they made said, they giggled), but they made the showing more interesting.

The Men Who Stare at Goats

Pretty witty, but not as hilarious as I thought it was going to be. I'm not a Clooney fan, but I really liked his character...both him and Ewan McGregor were fantastic. I loved the Jedi references! I really loved the fact that McGregor's character has no idea what Jedi are...when he was one. Laughed so hard at that. I was hoping for more scenes with goats, but that didn't happen. Also, I was a little confused with the ending and their 'plan' involving all the LSD. I couldn't exactly figure out a point other than distraction. Still, a good movie!

Paranormal Activity

Way too much hype. It wasn't as good as everyone was saying it was. I normally don't see 'horror' movies because I hate them (but my room mate dragged me to it). I was laughing through it. Wasn't scary, but it was f***king creepy. I hated Katie...I just wanted to punch her in the face. After it was over, I was like 'WTF? It just ends like that?'. I don't know, maybe the hype made me think it was something more spectacular than it actually was. It was nicely done, but I didn't like the...content, I guess.

Law Abiding Citizen

I am all about a naked Gerard Butler! And I kinda liked him as a bad guy. I was hoping for a better ending, but the slo-mo explosion was kinda neat. I was also waiting for something to happen to Nick's family, but that never happened either...they just got shipped somewhere safe. It's bothering me what prison they filmed kind of looks like Eastern State Penitentiary with it's design, but I keep second guessing myself. Neat concept, though.
