Not to be confused with 11/11/11, 11-11-11 is the third film I have seen involving 11:11. An eschatological horror film with some decently creepy moments, 11-11-11 mostly suffers from its feeble attempt to become a dramatic exploration of faith and its confrontation with meaninglessness. Unfortunately, it lacks the finesse of Friedkin's The Exorcist. Instead, it just feels like a tired piece of Satanic horror that squanders its decently horrific moments by diluting its plot with pseudo-intellectual drivel. Go watch The Exorcist or Satanic Polanski thrillers like Rosemary's Baby or The Ninth Gate.

Godzilla Vs. Monster Zero

Another Godzilla film from Ishiro Honda, Invasion of Astro-Monster, which features many other names and was not released in 2007, is a fun piece of campy sci-fi that blends the alien invasion film typical of 50s/60s sci-fi cinema together with the Japanese giant monster film. Stupid, but fun and entertaining nonetheless...

Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster (San daikaijû: Chikyû saidai no kessen)
3 years ago via Movies on Facebook

After the original Gojira and Mothra films, Ghidorah is probably my next favorite kaiju film that I have seen thus far. It features the lilliputian twins from Mothra, an amnesiac princess who believes she comes from Mars and presents herself to the pulblic as a prophetess, and the first team-up between the kaiju--Rodan, Godzilla, and Mothra join forces to battle Ghidorah, a three-headed dragon-like destruction machine that proves to be too powerful for any of the giant monsters on their own. A fun, giant monster, sci-fi b-movie from Japanese B-movie master Ishiro Honda.
