I think this was my first Oliver Stone film and must say it was definitely on par with my expectations.

Brolin had his character down pat. I was also surprised with Dreyfuss and his character. By the end of the film I couldn't help but feel a little bit sorry for W.

Even with names like Waltz, Bloom and Lerman, this film just didn't have what it needed. I appreciated that adventurous aspect of it and it was a good to watch while stuck indoors.

Having read the book, I was so excited that they made it into a film. Having now watched it, I'm glad they did and now I need to re-read the book.

I think the film could have gone a little deeper, but understandable that they didn't.
