Actually better than the last one of these. At least they aren't screwing with the cast more than usual. Soren still is the best character, although he is all prim and proper and he really wasn't like that in the first one. Seeing as he nearly bit someone's hand off to keep the Halo remote. I guess for a sequal it's okay, definately not as much of a waste of time as the last one but the dialouge is almost just as bad. They once again left it open for another one. I guess it's turning into the Land Before Time.
The resolution to the dog park problem took way too long, literally last second in this one, and it's really hard to want to care about someone who maxes her parents credit cards and doesn't even seem to care that she is a burden to her family, like she is entitled in every way. If you wanna watch a cheesy Christmasy movie it will do, but there are better options.
Not entirely sure why the magic had to be portrayed in such a trippy way. The main character probably would have been slapped a few times for the tings the pulls along the way. Aside from that It was basically your typical Christmas movie, one character has too much Christmas spirit while the other is lacking.
