The Bat
The Bat (1959)

The local bank has been looted by a man on the inside, and the bank president is on a summer trip "deep in the woods" with his friend (not sure if that was a euphamism). The prez was the one who stole the money and attempts to fake his death, but his friend (Vincent Price) decides to make it real. A wealthy novelist is spending the summer in a mansion rented from the bank president. The president's "friend" returns from the woods to search the mansion for the looted money. A burgler/murderer known only as "The Bat" is prowling the premises for the same reason. Who is "The Bat"? Is it the guy we very early in the movie saw turn on a dear friend an commit cold-blooded murder? This is a murder mystery with some comedy much like the early "old dark house" horror/mystrey flicks. (Well, the reason it is so similar to those early films is that it is a remake of the 1926 movie by the same name and [the better] The Bat Whispers from 1930.)

Bloodsucking Bastards

A new sales manager is brought in to help a struggling firm with several beta and slacker employees. The new employee was trained in a Romanian business school where he learned to use vampirism to motivate the workers. Some funny office dynamics plus clever commentary on the corporate world make this a fun watch. Definitly watch if you enjoyed Netherbeast Incorporated or Stalled.
