Credible follow up to Gor has Professor Cabot sent back to Gor from Earth. Cabot frees the now enslaved people under an evil new queen who assumes power. Was disappointed Cabot's Casio watch did not figure into the sequel. He wisely remains on Gor this time to stay with Talena.
Joe Namath spent some time in the 1970 offseason to make his film debut as a biker who wisely splits with his gang who sleeps in the wilderness to bunk with Ann-Margret and sets up a deadly race with the leader of the Heads.
Comedy is the order of the day in this decent film starring the Fat Boys who are hired as incompetent orderlies to speed the demise of an indebted man's wealthy, but ailing, uncle. I did appreciate the cameo of Cheap Trick's Rick Neilson.
Recently widowed young bride enlists for army and transforms herself from a misfit to a leader. Box office hit is only mediocre. At nearly two hours, runs on too long for this type of comedy. Eileen Brennan and Hal Williams would reprise their roles for the television series that ran from 1981 to 1983.
Good Samaritan is run over by a carload of reckless teens but brought back to life by a female voodoo master to seek revenge. Likely filmed in Quebec as evidenced by the O'Keefe beer and Players cigarettes signs. Not a good move with some horribly choreographed fight scenes but one I would watch again down the line.
