Rating History
The story is supposed to be based on a poem by Poe, but it's very loosely based on a very short poem, so it's really a story they came up with for the movie. A lot of it is low budget and somewhat stupid, but it's also a cool adventure movie with Price as the villain. I enjoyed it.
One of my favourite vampire "family" movies, the Twilight people should check this out. A woman, raped by a vampire, has the son of the vampire, and then the son is a vampire who wants to get revenge for his mother by killing his father! What drama! I love this movie.
From the beginning of this movie, I expected a bad movie about some horribly cheesy musicians and their dancers getting killed on a train, but keep watching, it gets a lot better. This is actually an anthology horror movie with three different stories. These stories are bloody, gory, and just really cool. I really enjoyed them. Sure there's a bit of cheese thrown in, but overall, I would highly recommend watching this movie if you're an 80s fan.
