I donâ(TM)t think this movie is as bad as everyone says it is. Itâ(TM)s definitely the worst in the series, but it starts out so strong. The only thing I donâ(TM)t like is the last half of Act 3. Itâ(TM)s almost like M. Night Shyamalan had all these characters and just didnâ(TM)t know what to do with them. The best part about the movie was James McAvoyâ(TM)s stellar performance as 20 different personalities. A major part of why I like the movie.
Apparently this takes place between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, which I do like. I enjoyed most of these segments and I liked the fact that they made it into an anime.

Though not as good as The Dark Knight, I thought this was an amazing film. I do think this is the second best of the Dark Knight Trilogy. The performances are amazing, though nothing came close to Heath Ledger as the Joker in the last one. Everything good about the last two is here.

What Batman Begins did right, this movie did even better. The writing was amazing with each character having an interesting arc. This movie pushed the limits of what the comic book genre could do with their tone. The performances were amazing. Especially Heath Ledger as the Joker and Christian Bale as our hero. This is a pretty dark movie but that's part of what makes it so great. Also great to see the recurring theme here from Batman Begins. Hans Zimmer knows what to do.

This definitely saved Batman from the era of Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. This darker and more gritty take on Batman definitely worked and changed what comic book movies could be. The performances and writing is superb but the score could possible be the best thing about it.
