A good soundtrack and a good cast can only do so much when the rest is an abomination...

The Shining
The Shining(1980)

Even though it is WAY overrated and it differs from the book, it is still one of the best horror movies...

Elysium
Elysium(2013)

Neill Blomkamp is a good director, and this, is a good example of that.

Logan Lucky
Logan Lucky(2017)

As the first Steven Soderbergh movie that I have ever watched, I had a good time, but the film, unfortunately, failed to surprise me.

Akira
Akira(2020)

A kind of satisfying adaptation of the Akira manga, this movie does derserve the cult status it gets.

Friday the 13th

Even though it started a franchise, it mat not deserve the cult status it gets... But it is still worth a watch.

Swiss Army Man
½

Weird but funny, Swiss army man manages to do what most of today's film fail to do, and that is to give us an original and entertaining story.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

It does the bare minimum to be entertaining, but that is all I ever asked.

Baby Driver
Baby Driver(2017)
½

A very talentend cast led by a very talented director, not so surprisingly, lead to a fun, intense blockbuster action movie.

A beautiful moving story about a bully who is trying to make up for his past mistakes.

Tag(2018)

½

Just like the first one, and the majority of Pixar movies, The incredibles is incredible.

Naruto Movie: Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom
½

While it does have some good fight scenes, this Naruto movie has way too little character and plot development to be worth watching, even for Naruto fans.

Most of the movie, particularly the ending, will leave most of the audience wanting more.

The Disaster Artist

The disaster artist is what most of us would have expected from a movie based off the worst movie ever made, funny and sad at the same time.

Nausicań of the Valley of the Wind (Kaze no tani no Naushika)

It may not be Hayao Miyazaki's best work, but it sure does a lot more than most of animated movies,

Coco
Coco(2017)

Even if it is far from being as goos as Toy Story, or other Pixar's work, Coco manages to tell a really emotional story about family and death.

½

A well done, yet not entirely satisfying james bond movie.

The Hitman's Bodyguard

The more I think about it, the worse The hitman's bodyguard becomes. So that's why when watching it for the second time, I didn't think about it too much. I just enjoyed it.

½

While it is clear that The terminator doesn't reach the height of its sequel, it still is a good load of action packed fun.

Ready Player One

A fun, intense rollercoaster that adds another impressive entry in Spielberg's filmography.

For Your Eyes Only

By no means the best 007 movie, for your eyes only still has enough going for it, most notably Roger Moore's take on the character, to make it one of the few of the franchise's must watch.

Naruto the Movie 2: Legend of the Stone of Gelel (Gekij˘-ban Naruto: Daigekitotsu! Maboroshi no chitei iseki dattebayo!)

While i still think that it is the worst Naruto movie by far, it still isn't a movie that I would call bad... It's simply okay.

½

Even if it doesn't live up to the Manga or even the original Anime's quality, this Naruto movie is still a blast to watch.

While not being particularly unpredictable, Wind River sure does captivate our attention for its entire runtime.

Batman
Batman(1989)

While it isn't as good as some of the best Batman movies, this incarnation of the dark knight is certainly worth watching.

½

There is something here missing, but I just can't put my finger on it... By no means a bad movie, it could've been better.

There is no denying that Disney had disappointed us with The force Awakens, but Star Wars: The Last Jedi is like a breath of fresh air, or dare I say, a new hope for the franchise.
